On the 25th February, Gibril Faal, ADEPT’s Executive Director, highlighted AFFORD’s wealth of experience supporting entrepreneurship in Sierra Leone at a high-level UK-Sierra Leone Trade and Investment Forum in London.
Participants at the event included senior government ministers from Sierra Leone and the UK including Lord Peter Hain, former Cabinet Minister and Sir Henry Bellingham MP, as well as representatives fromECOWAS and Dr Saran Kaba, Secretary General, Mano River Union.
The Forum is Sierra Leone’s most significant investment event since the end of the Ebola outbreak and part of the country’s effort to restore and strengthen private sector growth and to support new inward investment.
