This year’s Africa Day theme focused on the importance of addressing malnutrition and food insecurity. This day is celebrated this year as the world price of wheat breaks all records. Early warning systems point to several food insecure areas of concern as most of Africa enters its lean season.
Concerned about the food security of the continent of origin, the associations of the African diaspora also carry out activities that contribute to strengthening resilience in nutrition and food security in Africa by supporting agricultural activities. ADEPT supported them through different ways:
