During this year, everyone worked together to survive the COVID-19 pandemic. National and local governments, NGOs, private companies and individuals joined forces to continue to make life as easy as possible for everyone. This solidarity was also evident in our diaspora organisations and networks.
Inspired by this dynamic, ADEPT decided to put this in the spotlight. 2021 was the year of power, courage and resilience. It pushed us to overcome our challenges and create more opportunities for a adaptable future.
Given this scenario, ADEPT implemented two new events, namely the Diaspora Impact on Africa’s Development Month and Diaspora Youth Talk. Those events were the right time to listen to the experts who are helping their communities on the African continent and in European host countries.
