On behalf of the Scientific & Programme Committee, we are pleased to announce that Abstract Submissions are now open for the 2023 Food Safety Conference of the African Continental Association for Food Protection (ACAFP). The conference is being organised in partnership with the Africa Union Commission (AUC), Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP).The Conference will take place from the 7th to 9th November 2023 at MENSVIC Grand Hotel, Accra, Ghana. The theme for the Conference is *Towards a Safer Food Supply for Africa*.We welcome submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations under any of the following sub-themes: 1. Innovative capacity-building approaches to food safety in Africa 2. Integration of food safety with food and nutrition security in Africa 3.
