On 19 July, Gibril Faal made a presentation on ‘How to reduce vulnerability and empower migrants through the Global Compact on Migration’, at the closing panel of the second IDM of 2017. The panel was moderated by Mr Jean-Christophe Dumont, Head of International Migration Division, OECD. The other speakers were Mr George Jashi, Ministry of Justice, Georgia, and Prof Marius Olivier, Northwest University.
The IDM was organised by IOM, held at UN Palais des Nations, Geneva.
