Although African diaspora women send more remittances to the continent than men, their contribution to the social and economic development of Africa is hardly acknowledged and their voices too often marginalised.
The #ADEPT4She social media campaign launched, on 31 May 2018 sought to raise awareness of the key role of African diaspora women in the sustainable development of Africa and Europe. Running through May – July 2018, this participatory campaign mobilized supporters from around Europe, who shared their vision of the role of African Diaspora Women and convey messages of support.
