17 September 2018, Geneva – The Second International Conference of Young Francophones was organised on Monday, September 17 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The opening ceremony took place in the presence of the Secretary General of La Francophonie, Michaëlle Jean who told the 200 young Francophones from five continents “You are not alone! Without you nothing is possible. You are the strength of numbers, never has the youth been so numerous. You have to take advantage; you are the force of change! ” ADEPT attended the event and advocated for more chances and opportunities for young diaspora who are willing to be the agents of change both, in their countries of origin and destination.
