The African Institute for Remittances -AIR- in collaboration with Europe-based African diaspora organisations will be holding its 1st Diaspora Engagement Forum on Remittances from 15-16 May 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland. The Forum will discuss the main factors that impede the reduction of cost of sending remittances to and within Africa and ways of overcoming those challenges, including role of governments, regulatory authorities, RSPs, private sector, remittance senders and diaspora.
