On Friday 12 of July 2019, in Prague, Humanitas Afrika, ADEPT’s member based in the Czech Republic is organizing a special forum called ‘ACROSS AFRICA’. This would be the first edition of the Across Africa series that started in 2015. In 2015, Humanitas Afrika initiated the Across Africa mini forum in the context of the United Nations International Decade for the People of African Descent. The Across Africa mini forum series for fruitful discussions and constructive dialogue on global issues that impact Africa were launched in 2015 with the support and in the presence of the then Moroccan ambassador to the Czech Republic Her Excellency Souriya Otmani and former South African ambassador to the Czech Republic Her Excellency Franki Verwey. Since then, many prominent personalities and academics have graced the forum. This year big forum would be the organisation’s last event before the long summer break.
